Here are lesson plans, developed by Harvard Medical School for the Personal Genetics Education Project, that you can use in your classroom. The lesson plans have all the information you need to lead the class. For more lesson plans on different personal genetics topics, please visit their site here. The lesson plans provided here include the aim, guided questions, learning objectives, materials, common core standards, background information, reading for students, activities, a slide-by-slide explanation of the slideshow, an activity, potential homework for the students, additional resources for teachers, and a quiz. All of these may be adapted to fit the needs of your students.
